Quick background.. my very first phone was the Sony Ericsson W300i, then the Samsung Sync, then the Samsung Blackjack 2 then the Samsung Jack... then i got into iphones.. Iphone 4s, Iphone 5s and my current phone iphone 6s plus.
My work phone is a iphone 7 and i have a project fi phone laying around.. the Nexus 6P. Now, since my main phone is the iphone 6s plus (about 800 people have this number), i use it often. I do not like the path Apple is heading and sooner or later i want to get an android but my whole family and everyone has iphones... we use icloud where we all gather my daughters photo in one album, people facetime me, imessage me.. just convenience i guess..
Back in the day, i loved the fact that i had a samsung sync, blackjack 2 and jack and all i had to do was switch sim card around to keep my contacts and to have a 'new' phone.. almost like having multiple cars.
Now i understand it is not like that. I want to go back and forth with Iphone 6s Plus and Nexus 6P without loosing anything, keeping everything in sync, if possible, pictures too. I don't want to 'turn off' imessage every time either because i want to go back and forth with these phones. Has anyone done this and does anyone like doing it? I think this would be a good transition slowly into Android for me. Maybe i can give my wife the android phone when i am not using it so she can slowly switch to.. i just bought her an iphone Xs.. i feel ashamed
