Hi guys, i know some of you may be thinking that this question should be posted in the lg g3 section, but i've the feeling i'm more likely to find the more tech informed people here. Not to say the lg g3 section is full of scrubs - or is it .
Now, here's a question that's been crossing my mind, as we all know, the lg g3 (if i'm not mistaken) is the only smartphone by far with a resolution of 1440 by 2560. Some of us lg g3 users are experiencing lag, and i just wanted to know. Theoretically, from a TECHNICAL point of view, assuming this phone has been well optimized, is the 801 sufficient enough to theoretically be able to run a phone at a resolution of 1440 x 2560 without lag? Or is it correct to assume that the main reason there are hiccups in this phone is because of the cpu not being able to keep up with the resolution?
I'd be greatful to have this answered, too bad the LG doesn't have custom roms to fool around with (bootloader etc.). I always wanted to know if this thing can run at a decent speed and if in the long run it's indeed the optimization that's lacking and will hopefully be ironed out.
Thank you in advance
p.s: i hope this is the right section, didn't know where else to put it, i didn't see any hardware section either . While the reason behind this post is the lg g3, i just wanted to know if the 801 mixed with the resolution is the cause of lag or could be the cause of lag. So what do you guys think?
