4+ years ago I downloaded the Marvel Comics App and I've made hundreds of dollars of purchases on that app. Well about 2 years ago, comics got a little stale again for my liking and I took a break. Apparently at that exact time Amazon purchased ComiXology, the creators of the Marvel Comics (and DC Comics) app. Since their purchase, the Google Sign In and Facebook Sign In methods were removed. I never created an account with ComiXology or Marvel.com during that time, why would I have it wasn't required to maintain my library. My library of comic books was tied to my Google account, which I used to sign in. Now, 2 years after the purchase I picked up the app again ready to re-read some old comics that I enjoyed and I am unable to find my purchases. I contacted ComiXology first and explained to them the issue, to which I was referred to contact Marvel.com support, who then told me I should contact ComiXology. Each email I send is taking 2 days or more for a reply, this customer service rivals that of Comcast's. How is it possible that a company removes the ability to login to your accounts to access items you've purchased from them without notice?
Anyways, has anyone had this issue, can anyone help if there is a known solution?
I read that if I downloaded an old apk, I might be able to login and sync my account to ComiXology, but I have been unsuccessful in finding a version that would be 3-4 years old prior to Amazon's purchase.
