phone wont power up on its own and is stuck on a loop when powered up with charger!
I had my phone sitting on my nightstand over a carpeted floor and it slid off and fell onto its right corner next to the charging port. The screen immediately went black. I attempted to power it up normally since the battery was fully charged prior to the fall. Unfortunately it will not power on. I next connected it to my battery charger and it indicated lightning bolt and a 2% charge, which can't be because it was fully charged.. after approximately 30 seconds it indicated full charge and i attempted a power up with the charger connected. it started to power up and gets through the initial samsung s8 welcome screen, but then when it seems like it would switch to rely on battery power the screen goes black and it restarts the start up cycle and shows the samsung galaxy s8 initial loading screen. It perpetually does this until I unplug the phone. I am worried that in the fall the battery got damaged or partially disconnected? and now it is in a perma loop. Any ideas?
