Hello,

I read. something on the net like this "Many who read this blog know what it is ODIN. For those who are unaware, ODIN is a tool with which we can install any operating system Android. Or more commonly known in the Android community, allows us to flash our device Android." From a website that I can't post here due to the rules.

My question is
1. doesn't Android it self an OS? (like symbian)
2. but if what stated above is true then what are those "any operating system Android"?
3. does it mean the like of froyo gingerbread honeycomb etc?
4. If it is, then doesn't it will be depends on smartphone compatibility? (like say P1000 SGT is only upgradable to gingerbread)

Sorry for asking so much, I searched but it makes it jumbled.
