I need recommendations for a compact 4.5 to 5 inch phone, with Android 7.X.
I have currently a Moto G1, which is 4.5 inch and about 130 x 66 mm in size, and I find that 130mm is the maximum length possible to fit in pants pocket while riding a bicycle. Anything longer will start stabbing you in the abdomen at each rotation of the bike pedals.
I'm looking for $300 to $400, dual sim, with wide angle camera lenses with low light performance, such as wide aperture f1.7 to f1.8, and larger pixel sizes, like 1.3-1.5um.
I was originally looking at the Moto G5 Plus, and it's got what I want, except that it's very long at 150 x 74 mm.
I looked at the Sony Xperia X Compact and the Samsung A3 2017, but they're not dual sim. The lenses on the Xperia X Compact have smaller aperture and smaller sensors, so will probably have more noise.
